I've recently modified my first FrankenQuad (aka Dori-bird), swapping out the Ladybird V2 flight controller for a Blade Nano QX board.
Motor leads had to be reversed for correct prop rotation. Hubsan X4 props are nice for their resilience after a crash, but they tend to pop off these motors during flight so I've been using stock 1SQs. The quadcopter is a bit sluggish now possibly due to the flight controller being tuned for much less weight. It requires some extra throttle when turning hard or doing pirouettes to maintain altitude.
